I've heard that it would be a good idea to have a medic alert bracelet for no NSAIDs and no Blind NG tube. Anyone know?

I'm from Alberta canada and I'm wondering what happens if I get home and have any complications. Will it be covered by my Alberta Health care?

Thanks. My BMI is 40 so I'm not sure how much pre-op diet I'll have to do.

I want the VSG more than anything as soon as possible! How long does it take to get in for surgery. I have my own catering business and by looking at my schedule, the easiest time to do it would b between May 26th and June 4th. How much time of I have to get my husband fully on board. He's getting there but is still concerned. TIA
