I went in to the hosp. at 8am had the surgery at 10:30 am and was discharged by 3pm the same day. It was amazing and my surgeon Dr. Tull was wonderful!!! I can't wait for my first fill on Jan 15th due to I still get hungry but am learning to drink more and don't drink for an hour after I have eaten. There really is not alot of support groups near me so I am basically on my own. But I have a 8yr old and a 2yr that I want to keep up with and my 8yr old is a "skinny minnie" ha ha ha , hope she stays that way too!

The liquid diet for 2wks before surgery was hard but after surgery it was not too bad. I am now on soft foods and doin great!

Your probally right about the head hunger but Man my belly grumbles for Food!!! ha ha ha!!!

Hi I had lap band on Dec 6th and have lost 28lbs. but I am still hungry....will this get better when I get my first fill? Thank you.
