Thanks Teri - I appreciate the kudos for Dr. Ortiz. I have been looking up the information and it is very impressive. -
Dr. ortiz is the best. I had surgery with him and have had NO problems. He and his staff are professional. I was skeptical at first and so ws mu husband but I can tell you He is dynamite!!

Hi everyone - I am a Newbie. I have been looking into Lap Band Surgery and am just at the beginning. I am happy to have found this forum. I noticed that some of the posters were mentioning Dr. Ortiz. That made me curious. I have only heard of Dr. Kuri in TJ...are there more? Can you give me your experience with your physician? Is there a way to get a comprehensive list with credentials. I guess I am a little cautious thinking that I will have to go to TJ for surgery. Thanks in advance for all your help.
