Back from my first fill got 2.2 cc so hopefully i'll see a difference now. What a doll Dr. Martinez is. He had the patience of a saint with me and really took his time and answered all my questions. I drove that man nuts i'm sure. A shot of tequila was definitly needed in his system when I was done.

Hi Michelle, I think I met you in the waiting room at the hospital. You were leaving and I was coming. We were all out on the couches talking. I was being banded the 24th a day after you. Anyway I go for my first fill this saturday and hope it gets the ball rolling. No restriction right now whatsoever so I want him to fill me up. From what I've been told you are not officially banded until your first fill.

Wow, I go back for my first fill on Saturday and your post was totally discouraging.

Hi everyone, Was banded on june 24th and I'm going for my first fill on August 13th arriving on the 12th. I hope to get a lot of restriction since I have none right now and i'm really frustrated.

Hi everyone. I'm having surgery on the 24th of june flying to Mexico from Tampa Florida. I'm so excited but now reading the posts with people losing and then gaining i'm wondering if this is the right thing to do. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and an 11 year old son with autism so my stress level is very high to begin with and now even higher after reading this board. Would love any input from anyone. Thanks
