Has anyone had surgery with Dr. Carlos in TJ or another of his colleagues?

I would like to know if anyone here has had lapband surgery with Dr. Carlos or another surgeon at his hospital in Tijuana?

I found out about their DOCPAY payment plan and feel like there might be hope after all for me getting banded after all. Their prices are somewhat better than some others and I really hope this works out for me.

I thought the Dr.'s last name was Carlos, then I looked at the website again. It is Alessindro or similar to that.

Posters here are mostly patients of Dr. Ariel Ortiz at Obesity Control Center in Tijuana Mexico, in my opinion (and most of theirs) the BEST LapBand doc around - he's done over 4000 LapBand procedures!

I looked into all the Dr.'s in Tijuana before I had surgery. What worried me the most was being in a Tijuana hospital. While I heard some are good, I know they don't have to have the same level of care that we might find here. And they might not speak any English, so if I had a problem, too bad. I have heard lots of good things of a number of docs in Tijuana, but none has the reputation or the education or expertise that Dr. Ortiz and his staff have. And their private clinic is as good or better than anything I have seen here.

There are a lot of options, but in my opinion, Dr. Ortiz is the best.
