Hey Dixie, As for me, all is great. Including my pre-op weight loss, I am down a total of 48 lbs. so far. My first fill is coming up on 8/21. I don't have nearly the hunger I used to have, and that is making a huge difference. My weight loss has slowed quite a bit, but that is perfectly normal before you get your first adjustment. I am looking forward to it picking up again. Good luck - Kurt (fishy)

Forgot to mention that. I was banded by Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Martinez on July 10th.

...for August 21st. I won't be going to TJ though, I have arranged for local post-op care. I can't wait! I have kind of plateaued lately, went about 10 days where I didn't lose anything. Weighed in today, and I lost another 5.5, which made my day! Total lost so far (including pre-op) - 48 lbs. Total left to lose - about 85-90. Woo-hoo!

Chelley, you are still blasting Littleroo for asking questions! Why? That's all she did. Yet you are acting as if you were personally attacked!

I felt that I had done significant research ahead of time, and therefore I already knew that would be the response you received from Yale. Good job Littleroo - don't let anyone sway you in your quest for truth. Some people do tend to be touchy - they come to the Internet hoping to find people with their same viewpoint on things so they can commiserate, but there are plenty of others that know that real truth only comes when hard questions are asked. My surgery was July 10th by the way, and I couldn't be happier - down about 40 lbs total including pre-op weight loss.

I'll be heading back to the hotel on the 11th, my surgery is the afternoon of the 10th - hope to see you there! Ice party!
