Thanks for your reply!! When did you have your surgery and how is it going for you? What did you do the first two weeks? I understand the first week it clear liquids and the second all liquids. What constitutes a clear liquid? You are right, it's probably a good thing that I can't eat during Christmas!!! However, Egg Nog is a liquid!!!!! As far as recovery time, how have you been? I am scheduled for surgery on December 17. Only one more week and then I'll start this new adventure. I am so excited to get this weight off of me, forever!!!! I have been reading alot of the responses on this forum. Most of them inspire me, some of them however, make me a little worried. I think that I am most worried about how I am going to survive 3 weeks on liquid only, especially during Christmas and New Years. Can anyone tell me how they survived the three week liquid diet, and if there was anything they did that helped them fill full? Thanks, JulieMom

My surgery is scheduled for December 17th. I am driving down from St. George, Utah. I can't wait to shed all of these extra pounds. I have been overweight my whole life and now I am a grandma and I have too much to live for. I have to lose weight so I can be with my family. Is there anyone out there from my part of the world?
