  1. I will go from oldest to youngest. 1) Gray Matter he is a old gray cat who we adopted when my daughter went into the Marines. He kind of attatched himself to Larry. 2) Nickie - we adopted her from Waif 10 years ago. She is going on 11 now. She is my youngest daughters cat, but because she is heading for college quess we get her too. Don't think she would be comfortable anywhere else. She rules the house, and when any of the younger kids get out of hand she lets them know it with a swat of the paw and a lound meow. 3) Slippers - She is a gorgeous Manx, we rescued her from the shelter. She is the Mommy to all the younger cats, she is now 8 years old. 4) Mr. Ashcroft - he is our stately man. He is a persian and just knows that he is the most gorgeous cat in the world (well is world). 5) Nostradamus - what can I say about him, he is all mine, sleeps with me, looks for me after work, waiting right by the door. He is my big kisser and my biggest cat of all 20 pounds. We rescues him from a real mean man who put him under his tires and was going to run him over. My daughter stood right behind his cat while her friend got him out from under the tire. He has such a wonderful life now. 6) Nova - She was a birthday present from the family two years ago. She is a seal point siamese and every part of her rings out regal. 7) Jessie and Sybal they are our love birds. That rounds out our little fur people and our feathered friends. I am unable to have dogs due to allergies, but if I could I would probably throw in a couple to keep my cats on their toes.
  2. Can't wait for the new season, if they don't cancel it first.
  3. Can't really answer your question, you body will do it for you. It took almost 2 weeks for th iodine to disappear for me and anothe 3 for the glue to wear off. But that was just me, everyone is different.
  4. Sugar free jello or how about pudding. I know what you mean about the ice cream, so I have a fudgsicle. You make me laugh!
  5. I have a Gazelle just like Kittycat. I hate to go to gyms. I also started very slowly with walking, and built up. I now walk 4 miles a day when the weather permits, or stay home and do the Gazelle. I lift weights every other day, and then do Sweatn to the Oldies. Anyone remember that? Just get started doing anything to get moving, as time goes by it does get easier, and fun.
  6. Bandster hell, I hated that time. Upped my exercise and stayed out of the kitchen. I ate a lot more veggies to fill myself up. I am only on my second fill, got it yesterday, am on mushies for another 24 hours then back to eating regular meal. Just try to keep busy, your doing great!
  7. You look so wonderful. You are such an inspiration! I just had my hair trimmed on Saturday and it did wonders for me.
  8. I alway had to go with a table and chairs. The waitress never asked just automatically put me there, did they know something I didn't (HaHa). What a great feeling it was to be asked a booth or table?
  9. Your doing great. Just a few more weeks to go.
  10. I believe that rewarding ourselve is important too. I go get a manicure or a pedicure. Like everyone else I don't want to buy clothes just yet. And Chocolate is out of the question unless it's a protien bar.
  11. 1) I want to take the extenders off my seat belts (Oh wait I have done that last weekend) 2) Wear a swim suit. 3) Order a smaller lab coat at work! 4) Be able to fit into a booth at a resturant. (Oh I can do that now). 5) Get out of my kyak by myself with out my husbands help! 6) Go out and buy all new clothes! As we continue on our journeys take a minute and see if you can do it now. It's lots of fun. I am enjoying my time.
  12. You decided to have this surgery for your health every time you put something in your mouth that you know you shouldn't think of the pills you take for blood pressure, and then look at your child, then try to imagine what another child would look like. You are on a new road to eating correctly, you can do this. We all will stray once in a while but we have the choice of whether to continue on a distructive path, or go back to the new path. You will succeed! Good Luck!
  13. Thanks Mona for sending the clothes you even stuck in a size 22 jean. (I can even wear them!!!! ) Okay this is a big deal to me I haven't seen 22 since I was 16 years old. I cleaned my closet today with hubbys help all of my size 32 to 28 all are gone my closet is bare. I am so crying right now because I didn't think I would ever see this happen to me. All of my 4X and 5X t-shirts are now my jammies at least for a few more months then they will all be turned into rags for hubbys shop. This is such a great day for me. The clothing exchange was such a great idea! Will be sending all my clothes to Mona for her sister. Let's keep it up. Thanks to all and to my band!
  14. Congrats on the restriction about time. Now you should see things start to go your way, that includes your Dell. Bobbi
  15. Welcome Vix - We all have gone through the scary, but you know it really wasn't all that bad. I was banded on a Monday, stayed the night in the hospital, and back to the motel the next morning. Yes I was tired, and I was sore, but no actual real hard pain to speak of. What helped me most was walking, and sipping on clear liquids, but mostly the walking helped me get throught it. It was a real great experience that I will always treasure. It was the begining of the new me. Stay with us and we will help all we can. Bobbi
  16. Okay Mona - This is kind of creeping me out. A cat tatoo on our ankles, the love for the cat, and now you love Lost.... I am a big fan!!!!I am in bed by the time it comes on but I have DVR'd it for as long as it has been on. This is my all time favorite show on TV, will never miss a show. Bobbi
  17. I want to buy clothes from the Hot Topics always wanted to go goth!!! I would also like to buy panties and bras that match.
  18. Lisal is right, I couldn't see a difference either. Then posted my pictures in the gallery and everyone here said they could see the differnce. I started at 303 pounds and am proud to say that I am under 250 now. My pants and shirts hang on me, didn't think I could fit into a smaller size, had to find pants to fit and went from a size 32 down to a size 24. What a fun life this is, the lap band has truly been a god send for me. Just give your body a chance to catch up with the weight loss. Buy pants if they are on sale and you will try them on one day soon and they will fit.
  19. It took me about 14 days to feel better. I forced myself to walk and take very small sips. That was my motto for the first few weeks. walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip. You might be right about the yogurt and lemonade. Don't mix them. It will get better in time.
  20. Where I work, they had a catered luncheon today. I was sitting at my desk all afternoon smelling fried chicken, potatoes, lots of chocolate cake, pies, cookies, brownies and even dare I say, yes I will fetuchini alfredo(MMMM). Everyone else ate in the office but I just didn't want to go into the kitchen.
  21. You look absolutely wonderful. Keep it up!
  22. Thanks for the suggestion, that's what I thought I had seen Biotin, also I hear of Silica Complex. You guys are wonderful, I will run down to Wal Mart tonight.!
  23. I am loosing my hair. It has taken all these years to grow it long!!! Over the last few weeks I am finding more hair on my comb and floor. The other night after taking a shower, I was combing my hair out and clumps just came out my husband said "That's not whats suppose to happen". He finally believed me. Now anyone have any suggestions. Yes I am eating protien first, yes I am taking vitamin supplements. I am very discouraged and just want to cry. My long mane is going away!!!!!
