Thank you so much! I am trying to search the web to find a protein shake that tastes good, but there are SO many to choose from, my head was spinning! I will go tonight to buy the GNC brand, and maybe try a shake before my surgery, just so I know what to expect. Thanks again for the suggestion! =D> --Bethany

I'm thinking if you let it go flat by shaking it or letting it sit in the fridge for a day or so you may be able to take a sip or two. Then you would have the diet coke taste, without the carbonation that is so bad for your band. Just a thought... :-?

I love you girls!!!!!!!! I was just wondering how I was gonna get the courage to ask the doctor if I could "chew and spit", and decided I would keep my dirty bad thoughts to myself. SURPRISE!!! Hey everyone! This is my very first post. I'm getting excited and nervous for my surgery on April 30th, in Denver, CO with Dr. Kirshenbaum. I have spend the last few days browsing the forum and reading about everyone's trial's and tribulations. I am so proud of you all already and feel like I have some friends in my corner on this long, scary journey. > Thank goodness I found this website, and with it, people who have climbed the mountain in front of me sucessfully!
