Hello everyone One thing that might help because it help me is to go back on lean cursine dinners. I eat one for lunch and one for dinner and I have a protein shake for breakfast. I stop eating after 6:00 p.m. I also walk for an hour after work. I been losing about 5-8 pounds a week. I did gain weight back when I got on solids. I know I had to do something. Yes, this band is a tool and you need to use it has a tool. Don't stop keep going, We all can do this, we have great suppport and that matters.

Hello everyone. I lost 17 lbs. After post-op I gain 5 pounds. I was so disappointed. Now I'm walking 5 times a week and watching what I'm eating. This is not a rocket scientist mission. You have to work it. I did not know this at first I thought you get the band and lose weight. I did not know you have to watch what you eat You have to work out and you can't eat and take liquids at the same time. The only thing that I know for a fact that one day I'll be thin. Charlotte

Hello everyone, I called Dr. Ortiz today and mama12, you are correct. It's 2 band sizes 10 and 4. the one that is 10 can hold up to 4cc and the 4 can hold up to 10 cc of saline. It depends on how much weight is it to lose. Those who have a 10 has less restriction than the one's that have a 4. Therfore 10 does not need to lose as much weight as 4. The bigger your band is more you can eat because you don't have to lose as much. By the way the 4 is called VG band. I wish I had the 4, I need restriction, but I have faith in Dr. Oritz he know's best. Thanks to all the shared. Charlotte

Will I really don't know about the bigger you are the bigger the band. I'm 5'7 and I weigh 230 started weight now -225. I have read postings on current weight larger then me and smalller the band. That's why I'm wondering what's up. I will call OCC tommorrow. Thanks Charlotte

I was just wondering. What's up with these size bands. I been reading a lot of posting and it seems to me everyone has a 4cc band, well my card stated mine is a 10cc. That's huge, what's up with that? How does these band works. How does the Dr. say what size band is good for you. Sign confuse. Charlotte

Yes, I been struggling, It's been very hard just drinking liquids. Today was my first day drinking a slim fast drink. I been on just clear liquids. Special K drink is very good. Try it. that may help. I lost 5lbs so far. I did not lose prior I just could not get on the pre-diet. I could not get it together. But after surgery It's like you really don't have a choice. I'm to scare to eat. My morning are ok it's the evening that I'm having trouble with. I'm still in pain. I think I'm going for my 1st fill in June. I will stay in touch. Charlotte

Well I'm a bandster. Everyone is soooooo wonderful including the patients with their husband. Little sore but who cares in a few months I will begin feeling sexy @ 41.
