  1. Thank you ladies for responding, I mean I dont get the real big Lean Cuisine dinners, like my lunch today was the Salisbury steak with the mac and cheese.. some days i just feel like a bottomless pit and it makes me think I have stretched my pouch... I have never had a fill done under fluro to see if everything is alright... I just want to be able to eat a couple of bites of something and then be done... I do eat slow though.. it takes me about 20-25 minutes to eat for the most part.... Pre-packages meals are just soo easy for me right now since my husband is not home its just me but when he comes back home I will probably just do lean cuisines for lunch and cook dinner but for right now they are so convenient...

  2. I am just wondering if those of you that is at their sweet spot that has about 3 or more cc's in their band if they are still able to eat a whole lean cuisine still.... I am still able to eat a whole lean cuisine but its like I have to stop myself to not eat the whole thing.. My fill doctor told me that I should not be eating over 8 oz. but most lean cuisine are over 8 oz and really are alot of rice or things that go through the pouch fairly easy ya know.. I just don't want to stretch my pouch and just wanted to see how you other bandsters are dealing with this...

  3. Christy I work everyday too maybe not as strenuous as you say you do, but I don't see how it would be a problem at all to go back to your work out after being banded... Of course you have to wait 3 months before you can start working on your abs but everything else is a go after surgery... When you do start working out after surgery your port area may be a little sore but other then that you should be ready to go honey....

  4. Thank you guys so much for your sweet words and encouragement! I sure hope this is it for me... I really want to get some of this weight off before hubby comes home in Jan. and I sure hope this is the sweetspot... I started walking 3 miles a day after I get off work and doing some toning exercises with my ball and thigh master so hope to start seeing a change in my body soon...

Today I started on mushies.. I had a scrambled egg for breakfast and some pintos and cheese from taco bell for lunch so far so good.. Haven't tried solids yet but I can definitely tell a difference in the amount that I have eaten so far...

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

  5. I had my 3rd fill today... Well on the 22nd of September I went for my 2nd fill and found out the 1cc from my 1st fill was missing so he only added back 1 cc to put me back where I should have been which was 2 cc's. Well I went in today for another fill since I did not feel any restriction from my second fill and he added .5 and had me go into the lobby and sip on water and then later came back in and asked if I felt anything, well I didnt so he took me back again and took it all out and added 3 cc's in that time... Had me go sit in the lobby and sip water and I could feel it! RESTRICTION! YAY!

I am so glad to finally be at this point to where I actually know what restriction feels like... I have to be on cold liquids today and tomorrow because he said cold liquids help with the swelling.. So no broths or any of that for me just cold liquids....

Well anyways I had a headache before I even got there and so when I left I stopped by the gas station and got a fuze drink and some Tylenol sinus and chewed them up and swallowed them and boy could I feel a difference!

Just wanted to give an update...Wish me luck! :D

  6. Well I went in today to have my 2nd fill done. Same doctor who did my first fill... Well he drew all the fluid out before injecting anymore and he was only able to pull out 1 cc. At my first fill I got 2 cc's but today only 1 was left. He took all the fluid out and added back in 2 cc's. So I am back to where I started with the 2 cc's...UGH!.. I did not lose any from my first fill at all.

Is it me or does that seem like alot to be missing?

  7. Phoenix I am in the same boat as you except for the thyroid issue.. Its frustrating for sure, thats why I havent been posting as much either... I was banded on June 27th and from surgery til my first fill I have only lost 13.5 pounds. I had my first fill on August 12 of 2 cc's in a 4cc band and have not lost ANY weight with that fill... I feel your pain believe me.. I am asking myself too if this is really going to work for me..

I have my second fill on September 23rd I hope this is my sweet spot fill.. I hope for some restriction.. I can eat a whole Lean Cuisine and I hear that some people can not even eat half of one. That makes me think I have done something to my band since I can eat a whole one. Its just frustrating when you see everyone else dropping weight like crazy and here I am stuck at 185 for like 2 months now... I am logging all of my food as well at myfitnesspal and it does help to track of it.. Like yesterday I didnt even go over 1000 calories.. I am trying to keep it around 1000 calories a day but not seeing much movement on the scale..

Hope you hear something from your doctor soon and the weight starts falling off for you...

    Good luck honey....
