Thanx for the input i've been lookin at a lot of posts thank god most are positive some tho worry me when they say band slip and they feel like they are chokin.

Thanx for all your advice...unfortunatley i am not goin to the OCC for surgery i am goin to the bariatrics center in langhorne, Pa.. i found this website and decided to join not because of where the surgery was taken place but to have comfort in all your experiences...thanks for your responses!! Im sure i am going to have plenty of more questions as time goes on and i read more replies from people and also when i speak with the doctor on june 6th (my fingers are crossed that this will be the new me)

hey everyone, My Name is Cindy and I have my 1st consultation appointment on june 6th...I know this is something is seriously want but of course I have my doubts and concerns. Can anyone relate and maybe give me ideas...usually how long after the consultation does it take to get the surgery...and 2 other questions i had was will i eventually be able to have diet soda or maybe a happy meal from a fast food place. thanx for any advice that is goin to be given
