  1. Just so you know it it is deductible only in the year you pay for it. If you paid with a credit card in 2009 it is deducible in 2009 but if you make payments (only the amount paid in that yr are deducible) you can continue to deduct in the yrs that you continue to pay for it. Hope this makes sense but I have alot of people come in and tell me the have $1200 i medical but only have paid $800 still owe $400 then only the $800 is deductible for that yr. If you paid with other source like Credit card and Dr was paid it is all deductible. Hope that helps...

  2. Woo Hoo Shelby! I am so proud of you! Im running a 10K in april and it kind of scares me as all I have run is a 5K (and thats double) But I will finish it even if I have to walk some! ran 4 miles yesterday and my hips feel it today. You are such an inspiration! Keep up the hard work. I too am almost in the 130's sooooo excited!

  3. Donna, That is funny you said that about planes because I flew to Hawaii and could not eat that whole week. I do not have a tight fill , so that was a rough week.

The band is so funny but I will say hot drinks in the morning help with morning tightness. I do not always have it but when i do it seems to help. the Band must be a woman (he he) Cant make up her mind.

  4. Well here is my two cents lol... I would get it done before the trip. I was back to normal 3 weeks after surgery (no more gas) I would not get a fill until after the trip so she can still enjoy all the great foods and such. This is about health, not just weight loss and my only wish was to have done it sooner. I could eat all I wanted even after my first fill. I would have done great on a vacation. 1 for the wife, he he

  5. Cosmed will have a new building soon, with a recovery room to stay in. I used Dr Q because Dr Ortiz told me he was who he suggested. I want a person who has practiced for many years. Dr Q has practiced for over 20 yrs. I know Denise used Dr Campos and was very happy. I am sure both are great... I am waiting for new building to do the extended TT but I will be back to dr Q for sure. He was amazing with very little pain. He called me everyday for the first 3 days then 1 time a week after that for the next two weeks. He answered my emails.

  6. Well for me they added 1.8 cc on first fill. They mostly stay under 2 cc first fill to work you into understanding restriction. I did not have much restriction until my second fill. It was there, just not like it is now. Its a little more forgiving and you learn to eat slower and small bites and chew chew chew. Thats what my fill dr in Flagstaff told me...

  7. I lost mine at 24 after 8 yrs of attacks. No one figured it out because my pain radiated to my mid stomach (not side). They kept telling me it was an ulser or constipation. Attacks got much worse at 23 when I lost 40 lbs on a diet. Just keep in mind you can be a man ,not 40, not fertile and still have these problems. If you feel pain it is a simple ultra sound to tell you. It does happen alot with people who lose weight <_<

  8. Totally agree with Pammie. With my lift my nipples looked like bacon, and now they are beautiful! I didnt have alot of pain but I was worried about how they looked. 3 weeks later Everything was healing nicely and 3 months in I love them so much. I have taken progression photos and it is amazing the changes in a couple of weeks. Rest and dont do to much :)
