the $4000 BL & Aug were the only things you got done? cause if you look on the first page of this thread you'll see the prices Cosmed gave me But I would have a few things done at one time, so I'm just wondering if that's why you paid 4000

Yes thats all I had done I had to be back at work in 4 days. Going back for LBL. I will tell you he is awesome!

Well I didn't stay at Occ because I didnt want my friend to stay alone. I was feeling so good...But if I was to do it again I would stay at OCC overnight. I was in serious pain when everyone arrived back the next morning and they were not. Its the only thing I would do different. We stayed at lucerna and it was great. Ordered up soup which was good and popcycles right arcross the street ( dont worry you have to play frogger ). Its all a journey. I think either hotel would be nice...

And look what has gone right. You have lost 36 lbs in 6 months. Thats awesome! Call the dr. You paid to much for this to feel down. Like Shelby said...back to basics

I have no problem with the pills... Im not as tight as most though.

Thanks! I may have to give the gummies a try. I already do gummy vitamins and consider them my treat each day. Haven't missed a day of taking them since I started and I could never have said that if I was taking regular vitamin pills. This would be like eating candy all day long - who says you have to give up treats when you are banded.

I take them (the pills) and love them but they do have 5 calories each. Not sure about the gummies

All I can say is it was the best decision I have ever made. I got my life back. I had gas pain day 2 and 3 and other than that was great. Would I do it again HECK YES! Dr O is awesome! Hes my hero because he made happen what I could not do on my own. Well worth 2 days of discomfort for me...

Are you drinking your calories or eating high calorie food? It sounds like your doing everything right but I had a friend banded with me and she hasn't lost much and its because of her food choices. Keep up the exercise (thats awesome) Do you feel restriction? I know its discouraging but keep your eye on the prize!

I am 38 and have lost 40 lbs. my problem may have been my yo yo weight but I just got a breast lift and I need a TT and inner thigh lift. some people have more elastic skin then others. You just never know

I would go to a dr because I had pain like that and it was my gallbladder... Our bodies do funny things...

Do you know if they pick you up from the airport and take you to where you need to go, and yes I would love to hear about there new floor as well if anyone has been there? Did you go by yourself?

I took my sister but I could have done it by myself. Since I didn't fly in they picked me up at the border and dropped me back off at border. They do pick you up from airport (if that is how you travel) I was told Fall for new wing but may now be the first of year. Call and talk to Joyce (she is awesome)

Im sorry I may have missed your post, but did you have surgery with Dr. Q? If so what did you have done and if you dont mind, around about how much does it cost?

I had a breat lift with aug and it was 4000. I had such a great surgery and not much pain. I really thought they were great down there. I had a nurse sitting right next to me everytime i woke up. I felt very pampered. I did not stay the night but the few hours I was there was great

Also Dolittle. do they use gas in the body cavity for a LBL? They didn't for the lift and it was so nice. The gas is what got me on the lap band...

Im not at goal yet but willpower was my problem too. I might unfill a bit but not all. Congrats at being to goal!!!

Hey stormy, mine did not include a hotel. we were staying in San Diego and I went home 6 hrs after surgery. The whole expierence was so nice but I am waiting until they have their recovery wing befor LBL. Dr Q was the bomb and my scars a minimal compared to what I have seen done. My biggest concern was what if something happens when I get back to AZ and that is still a concern but so far everything is great!

Are fills painful? I hate needles and I get tense when they are inserted. What can I expect?

My first fill is Thursday August 13th

For me.. I have had two fills. 1 did not hurt and the other did. Not much help here Im afraid. They are not supposed to hurt. The barium they make you drink is gross but managable.

Stormy, Just had a breast lift at Cosmed three weeks ago and it was 4000. They give a 250 discount for those who used DR ortiz. He was great! i LOVE THE GIRLS! I will be going back for the LBL in may after school gets out and I have the summer to heal. The breast Lift was the easiest surgery I have ever done. I would suggest Cosmed to anyone (they were wonderful)

I Had mine on Thursday and back at work on Monday. I had alot of gas pain so there was some discomfort but it was do able. If you have a choice take more time but if not you will probably be ok. Like they said its so Individual (some people have no pain at all) I just did a breast lift and aug on Thursday and back to work on Monday and because it had no gas it was easier. Just take it easy. You know your body...

I also Know a great Dr in Flagstaff Az who uses Flurro for 275... Dr Berger and he is awesome!
