Hey, Shelby--I followed your advice and got hooked up with your Dr. in Kansas. I called right away like you said to do, and it is a good thing I did--they are a busy busy clinic. I got my first fill booked! Thanks! They do use fluoroscopy, right? Sandra

Can you tell me the cost of getting a fill with Dr. Malley in KC? And more important, can you tell me what the experience was like overall, and the customer service? Is he an independent or affiliated OCC? I have a daughter there, and could get a fill there. Sandra (getting banded Jan 12--Yikes!!!)

My date is Jan 12th. I am having some anxiety. I am a little worried about my relationship with food, knowing how much I love to eat. I fear that I may have cravings that are unsatisfied, once I am banded. I think I need to explore more what food really means to me. I am also a little worried about the hunger that I expect the first 30 days. I don't worry about fluid drinking restrictions, such as during meals and so on, but do think I will miss having an occasional glass of champagne. Also, I have never been a water drinker, and know that this will take a huge effort on my part. Not to sound like a whiner, but I want to be in emotionally good shape before this surgery.

Has anyone had a fill in the Eau Claire Area, or the Minneapolis area? I am doing my checking early Just a few more days until retirement, then a quick trip for a Mexican vacation, then in January to Tijuana for banding. My mind is pretty full right now. I like reading success stories on this forum. Sandra

Do you mean New Prague doesn't have fluoro? Should we be worried about that? Can we find somewhere else to go? I wish we had some responses on our thread! Sandra
