    Hi Jaime, I almost postponed my wedding because of my weight but changed my mind and went to the JP on August 8, 2008. I thought that maybe we could have an anniversary party later where I could wear my goal dress. After the insurance company kept postponing for this reason or that I decided to go to OCC and I'll be banded on Nov 20th. This forum has been a wonderful inspiration to me too! Good luck fitting in your dress!!! I'm sure you'll meet the goal as long as you stay positive. Are you having a big wedding?

    Hi Kimberly, I'm being banded on November 20th as well. I'm hoping for the smaller band too but I'm sure the Doc will make the right choice for me.

    Thank you for the encouragment. I must say this sight has been very helpful. I've been on another site as well looking out for what I need to bring to the hospital and someone has said to bring GasX strips... is this really necessary?

    My husband and I will be flying into San Diego early the 20th then I'll have my tests done. My original date was November 21st but OCC said that since I'm coming in so early I can go ahead and have the surgery done the 20th. I can't wait!!
