Yunno, I read about you great success and weight loss so far.....it truly is amazing how well this does work for some. I am very positive each time I go into a new weight loss attempt and everything does work "for a time" I guess the key here is that you cannot really go all the way back to the old eating life as the band is there to stop you is that right? I'm in the medical world and do understand what is going to take place very well, I am healthy and should not have any complications......I just want it sooooo bad......thanks for great humor and the encouragement.....and by the way congrats on you own wonderful success with the band. Wow Sabrina, I just started bawling when I read that! You are so blessed to have the courage you did and it appears your husband is really just seeing you as the truly complete package.....I would love to get to know you better as we are in the same area. I live between two homes in Coquitlam and Langley. Thanks to everyone that responded! It is so great to have people cheering for you that don't even know you! For some reason I do have a lot of fear.....I guess it is because of all the failed attempts at getting back to a normal weight. I was pretty normal up until pregnancy and having the twins really put me up over the "no return" mark. But my oldest is now 17 and the twins a few days away from 13 so that means I have been in the middles 200's for all these years now......all those years of trying to get back to the mid 100's which is where I was up till my 30's when I had my kids. It is interesting how all of us are a little different, some struggle with weight all there lives and to actually get down to a normal weight is completely new and exciting and then there are other like me that were once pretty close to normal weight and desperately want to get back there as we know how much better we feel. Not being able to achieve that no matter how many things we have tried is sooooo demoralizing...... I am just putting so much hope in this method/tool that I am also fearful of how terrible is will be if it is not able to work for me. I have a very healthy digestive system and have never had any problems except for the odd heartburn when I eat too much of the wrong foods. When I hear all the horror stories of the pain and reflux and vomitting I wonder if I will really be sorry for doing something so drastic. Can anyone speak to these fears in a real way and assure me that maybe I am being too paranoid? Or is it really luck of the draw how it turns out for each person. Thanks again for all the support........I really had a good laugh at the new Christmas song I will be singing!! ( all I want for Christmas is my new lap-band, my new lapband...... Cheers!

what is K20 water?

Hello Everyone, Just wondering who might also be crazy enough to be heading to Mexico to get lap band surgery over the Christmas holiday. It seemed to be the only time that would work with my shcedule, but I am hoping that the holiday parties and eating will not keep me from loosing my pre-op weight. It is going to be awfully hard to stick to protein shakes while all around me everyone is pigging out! I am praying that this tool will be the answer for me and so far have heard very mixed results.....I want to do everything right and have a chance to regain my health and self-respect. Hello Music Lover, I live in Langley and will need to find a fill Dr. for some time in January when I will need the first fill. My surgery date is the day after Christmas( YUK) anyway, if you could give me the contact details of the Dr. in Surrey that would be perfect location for me. How much did he charge you?
