My name is H and I was banded May of 2008. I have lost a total of 36lbs and am ecstatic! I am part of another web forum called Armywifechat.com and we have a small Weight Loss Surgery section that I moderate. I am hoping to get some more information on post op life with the lap band for myself and my other "girls " that are starting the process. I feel I have been doing well, but I am ready to buckle down and change up my diet. 6 months post op and I have been "getting by" but I want to take control of the diet more and set down better guidelines for myself. I am also very guilty of not following the pouch rules so I want to kick that into gear. I weighed 255 pre-op. I am currently 216. My goal is to drop below 200 by January and my ultimate goal is to hit 135 by next November. I am excited to be here and look forward to meeting all of my fellow Banders.
