very well said .. you go girl.... few words that can encourage everyone of us..... angela2662... dont be dishearten let me tell you something I got banded on the 16th of Feb I was there with my mom who was very much supportive... we came back to my moms home on the 18th. and guess what happened my sister bought Chinese food for my mom, my kids and her kids.. that food looked soo good and delicious, i cant even begin to tell you how i felt anyhow, but I said no, I cannot do this to my self so I didnt even touch it... next day they went to Sizzlers .... I did the same things didnt touch any food.. just pure liquid diet....every time I talked about food my sister said you will never loose weight if you think of food... although, my weight did not change until the 10th day ...post op.... not even and ounce.. anyways, it was on and on until I was there with them..... when I was leaving for my house my sister said to me .. which I will never forget... she said to me ... YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR WEIGHT... IT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME BUT YOU WILL WHAT WE DID TO U IN LAST WEEK.. EATING IN FRONT OF YOU..ALL YOUR FAVORITE FOOD WAS YOUR TEST... YOU WERE BEING TESTED FOR YOUR WILL POWER AND YOU DID IT........ I was blessed NOW JUST HAVE FAITH IN YOUR SELF NOW: I cook every day for my family... hubby and 3 kids... trust me .....since that day .. I havent touched carbs or any other food items which I am not suppose to.... sorry for this long post !!!!!! I KNOW I HAVEN'T LOST MUCH BUT I HAVENT GAIN ANY EITHER

Hi all, I don't know where to start from I was all so happy for loosing weight, but now I have gained 2 pounds I dont know for what reason I started my solids 4 days a go I am not eating anything which I am not suppose to cup of tea in the morning then maybe one white egg only (no carbs) lunch I'll have a chk or beef patty(No carbs) snack nonfat light yougurt and same thing for dinner (no carbs) but I'll have some Salad and light dressing pls tell me what am I doing wrong????????? I will start my work out from this Monday !!!!!!!!!! b4 my surgery I use to burn at least 1200 to 1500 calories a day !! hopefully I can get back to my work out after a month ...... any suggestions pls let me know I will be going to Mexico for my first fill in 2nd week of April .... I am praying that it will help me with some restriction!!!!

Oh Gog ... when it comes to Anesthesia I am OUT !! totally out... I remember my mom and the doc tried waking me up in my ROOM after the surgery I wont open my eyes and I heard my mom and the doc laughing saying she is a tight sleeper, I wasn't up until late that day........ LOL any how when I had my third child it was C section... same thing happened.... but there is one thing which I love about Anesthesia all my muscles are calm ... there is NO aches or pains anywhere.....

Lisa, ru taking b6 pills or liquid???? plsss let me know what vitamins pills are allowed with this band.. usually they are very big size !!! thanks

OH DEAR GOD !!!! HONESTLY THE DOCS WERE SOO CUTE !! EVEN MY MOM WAS LIKE WOW..... I NEVER KNEW MAXICANS WERE THIS CUTE..LOL I CALLED MY SISTER RGHT AWAY FROM THE CLINIS... I TOLD HER... MAYBE YOU HAVE TO LOOSE ONLY 30LBS BUT I TELL YA... ITS ALL WORTH IT... THE DOCS HERE ARE REALLLY GODO LOOKING... LOLOLOL MAYBE I'LL SEE THEM NEXT TIME WHEN I GO FOR MY FILL OR FOR MY SISTER ...LOL

it is shocking but I think if they cant be happy with your decision it is Ok .... you dont need freinds like them we should have freinds who are happy when we are happy and sad when we are sad.... you consider ythem as your true friends... excuse my french... but to hell with them.. you start your new life with happyness and new friends ... yeah same here.. i dont feel anything ... except.. just a bump on a scar... but my question is? these scars will ever fade or go away????

nope .. nada nothing.. not even a penny... after the surgery Only at the hotel....we ordered food few times in hotel for my mom and bought some drinks from out side.... cab driver.. thats it.. they take $3 to take you around the shops oneway...... good luck !!

hi babe, I am glad you r asking this.... this was my next question.... I have been ready for work out since last week.. but couldnt decide.... you and I have been banded for 17 days now...... and I have lost only 10 pounds sooo far.. I think which is very slow compare to others... but thats me... it always takes time for me to loose some weight comparetively... so I have decided I will start my work out from MOnday !!! so, ru with be babe....

Hi all, My husband and I made love last night.. .... .... I got banded 15 days ago .....I want to know if its safe.......???? I am sacred what if my band moved or slipped. .. my incisions are healing up very well !! Kind of cunfuse !!!!

Good luck to you !!! I am doing just fine.... not in pain anymore.. and its my 3rd week... now little bit of hunger is coming back.. but not like b4. I am still on liiquid diet lost 9 pounds so far .... good experience... again Good luck to you
