Looks like I won't be coming on here as often as I used to. There isn't much bandster news anymore.

I personally am very happy with the work I had done with Dr. Campos and I am returning to him this year for additional work.

I completely agree. Where did everyone go? I have been banded over two years and I still come on here a few times a week. We all need to be here to support one another.

I am going in for a thigh lift some time this year with Dr. Leon Campos. I had previous work done in 2010 with him. I have no complaints with his staff or services. I love my new body!!

Getting Lap band checked.

The last time I had them check they charged the same as they charge for an unfill. Basically for the use of the needle. It has been about six months since I have gone though so I am not sure of the price change. -
I would just put on fake ones or have someone at a makeup counter do it. I wanted to get them done but I have heard you cant put mascara on them and they do not last long. You have to go back and get fills every few weeks and it turns out to be so expensive. I wore false lashes for New Years and absolutely loved them!

We sell them on our website but it all depends on the taste you are looking for. Costco also has some good ones called Greenies on the Go or Greens on the Go.

I drink them everyday. I work for a life coach who sells them. They definitely help with energy and are very good for you.

I know! I cannot believe it has been two years. I am so happy that I was banded. I could not be more ecstatic! I surpassed the goal weight that Dr. Miranda set for me and I may want to lose another 5 or 10 pounds, but I am very content on where I am at. I wish I had someone like you to kick my ash so I could have an amazing body like you

Erica, I have always felt like I can eat a lot but it just takes me a long time to finish. I do a cleanse every 6 months to get rid of toxins and to get back on track. I have tried to do a liquid diet again and it has been so hard for me. What I do when cleansing is eat raw fruits, veggies and water. I usually do it for 5 days. It will clean out your system for sure....I also do admit, I have added hummus before because I was so hungry. -
I went to Dr. Campos for my PS and I think I was 183 at that time. I am now down to 153.

I can often eat a lot too and went to see Dr. So because I thought I needed a fill. He told me that it isn't 1/3 of the size of your palm but 1/3 the size of what you ate before surgery. -
purchased a size 5 of jeggings!!!

Once I reached my goal weight I was no longer allowed fills. I passed the weight I was given by Dr. Miranda and because I want to continue losing more weight I must do it by changing up my exercise plan. -
I have 2.2 CCs in a 4 CC band and am unable to get anymore fills. I hit the goal that was set for me and if I want to lose anymore weight I must do it with diet and more exercise.

Just wanted to stop by and give you some words of encouragement. We have all struggled with our weight and I know we expect it to come off so quickly after surgery but it takes time. When I first started I lost on average 10lbs a month for the first four months. It will come off. Please just give it time.
