  1. My experience was phenomenal! I would recommend Dr. Campos to anyone. A good friend also had surgery with him and is very very happy!
  2. I had PS by Dr. Campos in April. I had my waist, back, arms and thighs lipo'd. I would not recommend the thigh lipo though if you are thinking about it. My legs looked better before and have some hanging skin. I do absolutely recommend the back and waist. You will look AWESOME! I also had some fat grafted into my bottom. It hurt A LOT the first week and just know you will be unable to sit on it for that time. I do love the results though
  3. I do not measure my food as I can often eat more than a cup of food. I get weak and dizzy if I do not get enough in and do eat small meals throughout the day. Dr. Ortiz, the fills Dr.'s and Dr. Miranda have all told me to not count calories, but to just make sure I eat about 1/3 of what I used to prior to surgery. I am a year and 3 months out and can still eat bread which most cannot. I do not eat it too often as I feel it can be a set back. If you are hungry, I would eat. There is nothing worse than feeling weak and having a headache. Just remember though that there is a big difference between head hunger and physical hunger. I ask myself to determine which I am experiencing before I put something in my mouth.
  4. I can definitely see the difference when I look in the mirror or take pictures and also can feel it a lot. I have gone down quite a bit in clothing sizes. I started at an XL and now wear a small to medium on top and dresses, depending on how it was made. I have lost 80 lbs, so I am 2 lbs away from her goal. I want to be anywhere from 135-her goal, but it is just so hard determining when and where to stop. A lot of people tell me to stop where I am now and to not get too skinny. I have been smaller before, but for only about a year. I am just soooo confused. Thanks a lot for your compliments. They mean A LOT to me!
  5. Awww, thank you. It has been hard work. I am having a problem right now trying to determine my goal weight. It is so hard. One dr tells me one thing and another tells me something else. This is so difficult! I also have a big problem being that I do not see myself as I really am. I often have the same mindset as an Anorexic. I feel as if I look like my before photo all the time. I guess taking pics and looking in the mirror help, but not completely.
  6. Thanks for the compliment. You are looking AMAZING yourself! I used to come on here a lot more often when you first started. You are doing a fantastic job. You will see how much the PS will work for you. It did wonders on me!!

  7. How are you doing sweet Odette?

  8. Hi Sabrina, I have been experiencing A LOT of port pain as well. My question is, since they moved it farther back, how did it feel when you had your fill? Was it easier/harder to get to? Thanks, Ash
  9. My prayers are with you.

  10. My port is sticking out ahhh

  11. It also takes me about an hour to eat my meals. I eat very slowly and usually eat at my desk while working or in my room watching tv at my own pace.
  12. It depends the time and day. The wait differs when walking across. I have been down there quite often and the longest I have waited is maybe an hour, an hour and a half. And yes, it is safe, you have nothing to worry about. Just stay together. I have gone down there with just myself and another female and we were fine.
  13. I have only had the recommended 3 fills. I waited until 7 weeks after surgery, had my second 7 weeks after that and then waited 8 months. I am not at goal, but do not plan to get a 4th fill. I do not want to have to depend on fills forever and feel I need to train myself to do the rest on my own.
  14. Hi sweetie, just had to say that you're gorgeous! I am also in San Diego.

  15. Congrats! I was down in TJ today visiting my other doctor and saw the OCC van as I was in line. I wanted so badly to run up to the passengers and say congrats!!
  16. Aww, thanks sweetie. That truly means a lot to me :)

  17. I would suggest increasing your protein intake and/or taking a multi-vitamin.
  18. And keep in mind, you do not want to suck too much through the straw. You do not want to swallow too much air. I for one, would not recommend using a straw for the first 6 months or so. Just make sure your smoothie is not too thick.
  19. I am interested My email is kismyash04@yahoo.com Thanks!!!
  20. I made this today for lunch for my family. It was AMAZING! It is very hard to just have one serving though. I made it with Cream of Chicken, Cheddar Cheese Soup, Skim Milk, Chicken Breast, Tortilla Chips, Enchilada Sauce and Sour Cream and Chopped Avocado on top. This is definitely an amazing soup. I already had requests to keep all the ingredients on hand at home at all times! Here is a photo:
  21. I have also stayed at the Lucerna twice and have no complaints.
  22. I had laser liposuction with Dr. Campos one week and a day ago. I will be honest, the recovery is quite annoying because you become very swollen and during the first few days I was depressed because I felt I had gained instead of lost. I know that is normal due to all of the swelling, but it was very aggravating. One week later and I finally feel like myself again. Sabrina, I had a TT a few years ago with breast augmentation, the band and now the laser liposuction and the first week has always been pretty rough. I remember with the TT, I could not get out of bed by myself (for a week)and you have to walk hunched over during that time. For me, it has taken about a week from the surgeries I have had to feel comfortable. I am not sure how old your kids are, but I do recall that you cannot lift anything over maybe 20 or 30 lbs for a while. As far as after care, I did not use Dr. Campos' recommendation because I live in San Diego. I was very pleased with the Lucerna when I had my band. Also remember, San Diego isn't too far away from Tijuana. I live in San Diego so if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. And one more thing, for any of those wanting to get the fat grafting into the butt, you are unable to sit on your bottom for about 4-5 days. I was only able to stay in bed and lay on my sides and stomach. It was pretty hard to do and I became very sore. I do love how my bottom looks though. It is very full . If you are willing to relax and let your body recover, I believe getting lipo, a tummy tuck or being banded is definitely worth it!! The final result is definitely an amazing feeling!
  23. No, I had some fat grafting into my buttocks lol. Today is exactly a week from surgery and I feel great! I can sit on my bottom, drive and almost fit back into my clothes. The swelling is going down each day. I visited Dr. Campos today for my one week check up and he said everything looks great. Most of my swelling should be down in a week or so.
