  1. I would just put on fake ones or have someone at a makeup counter do it. I wanted to get them done but I have heard you cant put mascara on them and they do not last long. You have to go back and get fills every few weeks and it turns out to be so expensive. I wore false lashes for New Years and absolutely loved them!

  2. Erica, I have always felt like I can eat a lot but it just takes me a long time to finish. I do a cleanse every 6 months to get rid of toxins and to get back on track. I have tried to do a liquid diet again and it has been so hard for me. What I do when cleansing is eat raw fruits, veggies and water. I usually do it for 5 days. It will clean out your system for sure....I also do admit, I have added hummus before because I was so hungry.

  3. when you reach to your weight goal. you will have to plan your daily routine on same pateren.Otherwise all your efforts prove fail.you will have to do right same exercise for the maintiance of weight.

Once I reached my goal weight I was no longer allowed fills. I passed the weight I was given by Dr. Miranda and because I want to continue losing more weight I must do it by changing up my exercise plan.

  4. I am at 159 but want to get down to somewhere between 140-150. Thanks so much. I still have a horrible body image problem and do not see what I see in the photos in the mirror...sometimes I will see my reflection and not believe it. I will say something like, "Gosh I wish I really looked like that." How have you been doing since you flew past your goal? Feels great huh :)

  5. It's SO much fun to read all of your replies to my funny question. :) Like I had mentioned earlier, I am very tempted to buy a few things in super small sizes, LOL. I saw a dress online that is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and it's white and burgundy. I'm currently a size 10 or 12, but I wanted to order it in a 6. A lot of people mentioned that they flew pretty quickly through some of their sizes, so I'm debating ordering it, even though I can't even fathom "flying through" or even GETTING TO a size 6!! :)

I wear a 6 in dresses. Trust me, you will get there!!

  6. One of the members posted that some people said she had lost enough. That led me to think about what happened to me years ago. I went on Nutri System and lost about 65 pounds. I am 5'9" and when I got to about 170 (size 12) the men started to comment that I could stop now, I had lost enough. Strangely though the women agreed with me when I said I wanted to lose another 10 pounds. I have a large frame so if I drop to 150 I look gaunt and sickly. I wonder how much females are influenced by what we see in the magazines that we read. We, the women, seem to take our cues from the fashion and modeling industry whereas men just know what they like women to look like.

I know that being healthy should be #1 in everyone's book yet that doesn't mean we don't also want to look good. It's just an observation I've made and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed anything during their weight loss or if anyone has any opinions about what an influence our society has on us.

I am not sure if you were referring to me or not, but I had mentioned how Dr. Acosta and my friends and family tell me I do not need to lose anymore weight. Body image is a huge ordeal to me. I will never have the perfect body nor do I dream about having one. I struggle with what I think other people see and what I think I see when I look in the mirror. I am 165, wear a size small shirt and just purchased my first size 6 skirt this weekend. I was so excited that I told one of my gf's about it. She then told my really thin gf's I bought a size 6 and I just felt weird. I felt like they were looking at me like, "yeah right, your a size 6?" One of them even mentioned that she wears a size 4. Of course my next statement was "Oh, Express must run big then." I think it is going to take a long time to catch up mentally, but I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who feels like this.
