My name is Kelly. I had my lap-Band surgery on Aug. 21 2006. I weighed 264. I now weigh 242. I haven't lost any weight since my 1st fill.... My first fill was Sept. 20 2006. I had<br />1.4 put in. I go back Oct. 9 2006 for my second fill. I feel no restriction. The weight I have lost thus far was from the surgery alone. I have started riding my bike now and light exercise. Hopefully, with doing this and getting a 2nd fill I will start noticing more weight loss. Before the surgery I was taking 14 pills aday. Was a type 2 Diabetic, High Blood Pressure, High Cholosterol, and several more. What really made me put on the weight was when I had Cancer. I was diagnosed with endometroidadneocarsonoma, in our terms Cancer of the Uterus in Feb. 2005!!! Wow what a shocker. <br />I had a total hysterectomy. My cancer was in its last stages and I didn't even know... I was going to the doctor to see if I could get pregnant again with my new hubby. Found out Cancer instead. Well Hopefully I am Cancer free still. I have to go back to the doctor soon. As you can see my alternitive was WLS. My health just couldn't take any more.... Here I am and that is my story.......
