  1. I will be arriving on the 1st in the afternoon and my fill is on the 2nd at 9:00 a.m. I'm not going to do the van...I'm going to do the trolley and then a cab. I've done it before and it's quite easy. Since your appointment is later, we might miss each other. :-( Kirsten
  2. I am getting filled on the 2nd also. Will you be staying at Lucerna or just doing a day trip? Kirsten
  3. Dr. Ortiz uses Diprovan (I think I spelled that right). No intubation is necessary. That was the first reason I decided to use him. I was terrified of anesthesia and intubation. Kirsten
  4. I'm staying at Lucerna tonight but probably leaving after my fill tomorrow.
  5. I'll probably miss you. My fill is at 9:30 a.m. Unless you want to stay Thursday night and go drink margaritas. They are liquids. LOL
  6. Wow...there are a bunch of you who are being banded on the 2nd. I will be there for my 2nd fill...I was banded in August. Don't worry....it's so easy. I'm arriving tomorrow afternoon and will be staying the night. Would love to meet up with you guys. Kirsten
  7. I did the trolley/taxi for my fill but I came from the train station, not the airport. It's really easy. I was a bit nervous since my train was late and I didn't arrive at the border till almost midnight and I was by myself. Looking back, there was nothing to worry about. Getting back across the border took me about 30 minutes (on a Monday morning). There are lots of cabs near the border that will take you across for $5 and apparently they use a special lane and you will be across within 5 minutes. I chose to wait since I had time to waste until my train left. Hope this helps
