Hey Louise, Im in columbus ohio and I just had the band surgery about 5 weeks ago but since Im 18, I go to a pediatric surgeon so I don't know how much that will help, sorry if I can't. I know Mount Carmel West is known in Columbus for the surgery so that might help.

Hey janellody, I haven't ever posted on here but I saw this and wanted to respond since I had the same question and asked my surgeon. He said that you should still apply the no liquids 30 mins before/after so that you get into habit because it is much easier when you're on the liquid then when you are trying to eat solids.
