  1. I was wondering if anybody has received any guidance (from Dr. Miranda or otherwise) about dietary intake during the post-op/pre-fill liquid and solid phase. I've heard daily intake of at least 65g of protein and calories around 1200 (not from Dr. Miranda) but I'm concerned about carbs and fat as a percentage of overall intake. I also understand that these questions typically become irrelevant with a fill because of eating protein first, followed by veggies and then a starch (assuming you aren't full yet.) As I'm still on liquids, does anybody have any guidance?
  2. Hey all, I've got my surgery scheduled for the 5th of February and I'm getting ready for my pre-op diet. My question is regarding the surgery itself. I've been reading that a growing number of surgeons in the US are offering a single incision option for some of their patients. My understanding is that they use the belly button as an incision point. Does anyone know is this is an option with Dr. Ortiz and the rest of his surgeons? Thanks in advance, I'm getting REALLY excited!
