Hey Folks. I am getting scheduled for VSG surgery with Dr. Ortiz. Dr. Ortiz placed my band and removed my band. I was very successful on the band, but ultimately had to have it removed due to repeated slips after about 2 years. It's been about 1.5 years since the band removal, and I have re-gained more than half my loss. So, while I have great faith in Dr. Ortiz overall, experience with a particular procedure does count for a lot. Anyone know how many VSG or Bypass procedures he has performed? --Mike
