I lost 53 pounds from pre-op thru post op liquids but now that I've been on solids for a week...not a single pound...a little frustrating. I feel like I have some restriction...can only eat a fraction of what I cou...

Are you getting excited for Monday the 16th???...solid food baby!! I'm so ready for real food but kinda nervous about how I will react. Some people have no issues and others are PBing all the time...yikes. Russ is taking me out to eat that night so I guess I'll be very easy on my band that night for fear of barfing in public

Congrats on the 25 pounds! How are you handling the liquid phase. I'm struggling with it most days but still holding strong. Can't wait for Monday the 16th..time to chew!!

I see your weight loss ticker moving down...Congrats! Still holding strong here...well, not exactly strong, more like wobbly knees, with the liquid phase...we are almost to the end of it! It might be easier if I didn't have weddings, birthday parties, and county fairs every weekend since the band...yikes, talk about testing our will power!

Yes, had surgery on the 26th. Everything went very well. On Day 9 of post-op liquid diet and since starting the creamy soups think I might actually live thru this!! Most of the pain/gas has subsided. How are you feeling? Many of the girls I had surgery with keep updated on the forum or facebook so it is fun to see how we are all handling this phase. Let me know how your surgery went...

My name is Christy...let the games begin! I have been on this pre-op diet for over a month due to my high BMI to help lose at least 20-25 pounds, which I did accomplish, but holy cow...I am ready to get off liquids...I think my eye is starting to twitch from the stress of never eating real food! Only 21 or so days left...I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Congrats on your decision! Your goals really struck home with me. You have no idea the agony I went through going to Disneyland this last January about which rides I would be able to fit on with the kids...life just shouldn't be this stressful! I am being banded on Monday...yikes only 3 days away! I am from Minnesota so I pray for us to control ourselves from all the midwest...

Hi, I see you are having surgery on Wednesday...I am having mine on Monday. Pretty nervous but mostly excited. Hang in there, we are all a bundle of nerves right now...it can only get better, right??

I'm new, too!! My surgery is in 14 days..same situation, not really telling anyone for fear of negative thoughts. Good Luck!
