I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROTEIN ADDITIVES . . . I only made it 3 days on the clear liquids before going zombie and crashing. Thankfully some milked-down yogurt got me revived. Even the Mayo Clinic doesn't recommend staying on a clear liquid diet for longer than a few days unless you have some sort of protein or nutrients.

oh thank god . . . I am 3 days out of surgery and was wondering if something was wrong with me. It's a tight bubble in the middle of my chest that WILL NOT go away, no matter how much Gas-X I take. Guess I'll just keep waiting, and walking . ..

WOW - just got called from OCC, Ortiz had opening tomorrow afternoon, they bumped me up . . . that means surgery TOMORROW . . . fasting as of midnight tonight . . . debating indulging in a last treat, but can't think of anything good enough, haha. JUST TOO HAPPY!!

Finally down to the wire . . . leave for Spokane after work today, flying to San Diego tomorrow morning, pre-ops tomorrow afternoon, surgery Friday. I haven't been nervous at all up until now, and have totally re-examined my decision . . . and HELL YES, I'm going through with it!!! I kind of feel like everything from this point on is at the mercy of my angels . . . its a little bit heady . . . See you soon, OCC.
