    Im doing alright, feeling much better now. I do plan on going back to OCC for my fills. Here in canada they charge too much for someone else's Follow ups. plus i like the mini vacations. keep in touch

    Hey! Sorry for the late response. I've been doing great! Weight loss has been way slower than the first days. Luckily my port area doesn't hurt anymore (unless I hit it of course :) How are you feeling? I see you're from Canada... are you gonna go back for your fills?

    Hey Stacy! Sorry for the late response (I've been trying to stay busy so I don't think about food). The liquid diet is ok... Less than a week left of it! The scale has not moved for the past few days... but it drops incredibly if I take walks. How are you doing? Where are you from? When are you thinking about going back for your fills? So many questions... lol!

      CONGRATS Jasmin!

      You have the hardest part overwith now. For your next phase of this, check on this site for some wonderful information, advise and support when you need it. I was banded back in March 2010 and have not had one regret in doing this. Wish I would have done this surgery sooner. There are wonderful people on this site to give you information about questions you may have and their experiences are great to help when you need some support. Once again...CONGRATS...

      Oh Jasmin congrats. I was banded March 2008 and will be getting the sleeve before the year is out. Who's your nurse? If it's Josefa tell her a past patient sends her love. Everyone there are so very attentive to your needs. I hope you recover fast and lose tons of weight.

    True... it will be hard to contact each other. I guess that we will just have to meet each other in the lobby when they pick us up on thursday! OMG! I can't believe it's almost here!

    I will be there at 10:45am on the 8th and come back at 12:30pm on the 11th. We should plan our last meal together :) I've been so hungry!

    Heyhey! I finally booked my flights! United, I leave the 8th and arrive in San Diego at 5pm. Leave the 11th at 6am. We also booked the Marriott for our hotel. Were almost there just 6days to go! YAY!

    LOL... same here! I have some blah days, but overall, everything is going ok. I've been badly craving some stuff this week! I have two sisters who obviously don't have weight issues, and are pizza lovers. TORTURE everytime I smell it! Anyway... hope everything is going well with you, and that you can lose the necessary weight in TWO MORE WEEKS! Let me know if you schedul...

    This forum is wonderful! I was extremely hesitant and scared about going to Mexico for the surgery. Little by little I started researching, and started feeling more comfortable with the idea. I was still hesitant until I started reading the forum. It answered most of the questions I had (except for some very specific ones, that I will ask the Docs). BUT... most importantly I feel like I am part of a group now, and that somehow I will not be doing this on my own. Yesterday, I was scheduled to get banded on September 9th. All of a sudden, I feel better about myself... even energetic... and very optimistic about the future! Thanks to everyone that takes time to write in the forum... you guys are awesome! Jasmin
