Okay all you bandsters out there!!! I arrive in Mexico on Wednesday and scheduled for band on Thursday. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. What can you tell me about the first few days and first month post-op. Will I be hungry? Light-headed? Did you all lost weight initially? I have about 80-90 lbs to love.

One thing I felt, on my way flying home, I was tired, and I didn't check my luggage, trying to save the hassel and the 20$, but I wished I didn't have to roll the thing around, and pick it up to the overhead, etc. I packed light, but to tell you the truth I considered ditching the clothes I brought, I was afraid airport security would come after me. Hi denali how are u feeling....well I am having my surgery tomorrow as well...I am glad that I am not the only one having a surgery tomorrow....so exited I lost 11pnds with pre op diet and I still have 100pnds to loose..

I didn't have any problems and I wasn't too hungry. My best friend and I made a small vacation out of it and she was always concerned that she was eating in fron of me. I had to constantly reassure her I wasn't hungry. I did have a wicked bruise though. It was big and ugly and purple. That scared me a little dbut it didn't hurt. All people are
different , some bruise, some don't. I have a high tolerance for pain so I felt none of the things some other people felt. If...
