I haven't had my surgery yet, i plan to in the first part of next year. but now i'm reconsidering because i keep reading about people having problems with their bands after a few years and the Plication hasn't impressed me with the results i have seen. My question is how many bandsters on here have had problems with their bands after 4-5 yrs or more? Is it maybe due to them having a certain brand of band that isn't being used anymore?

I don't know how close you are to Ohio ( its takes me about 6 hrs to drive to Virginia), but i know that the Barix clinic in Groveport Ohio ( Columbus area) will do fills on people that were banded in Mexico fairly reasonable too. So you might give them a call. Water is very important to your success and Exercise. Even if you just go out for a brisk 1/2 hour walk it would be a start. Good luck!
