Has anyone ever had infection?

I started having a burning feeling a couple of weeks ago after a fill (sternal port),

Went on 5 days antiabiotics- with resolution for a few days then return of symptoms.

My dr has put me on 10 more days of ab's - and scheduled me for a fluoroscope

on the 13th of Sept. I was just wondering what the symptoms and treatment for

infection with a fill are??? any info would be appreciated. :-?

If you or your family owns or is buying a home- you can get a loan against that- a renters loan if the property is rental property or refinance for up to 80% of the value of the home-& the interest rate is usually much lower than these medical credit companies or a credit card. Also, if you have been banking at a bank or credit union

you can sometimes get a small loan from them,or- if you or spouse (if married)

have 401K- you can borrow against most of those plans and pay yourself back. When we checked with the 401 k of my husbands they had 3 reasons ONLY that you could borrow against the account- Adoption, any medical procedure not covered by our medical plan & and first home buying. Hope you find the way!!!!!

Thanks, Kim I pretty much sipped water for several hours and took maalox and this morning the

feeling is much better. I will Definitely Chew, Chew & Chew & NO MORE PILLS - even without a fill!

I am just out of the box- Surgery date 12-19-06- on week 5 & have been having a feeling of

a dull ache or heaviness in my chest. I thought it was because I had moist roast one night at

dinner & then ham the next. I bought some papaya enzymes and chewed thoroughly, but tonite

it (the ache) came back. As I thought about what could be the problem I realized that I have been

taking vitamin c and zinc 2-3x daily for 4 to 5 days - to help with healing my incision sites due to the fact that I am a slow healer. I usually have scrambled eggs in am, fish or chicken with very

soft (well-steamed veggies), and have beans occas. Liquids and solids-all food goes down without

any difficulty -but I can feel the food and sometimes the liquid pass this spot in my throat that seems like food (or pills) are at this place. I have been taking the pills whole due to the fact I

haven't had my first fill and now I'm freaking out - thinking what have I done to myself!!! My

surgery was in Mexico and I haven't started the process of getting passport yet & I'm in the

Panhandle of Texas with approx. 8 inches of snowfall on the ground today!!!! I would greatly

appreciate some input from others as I'm not sure where to go from here- I will call my doc tomorrow am and of course immediately stop the pills!!! Thanks Smarie (
