    I have been assessed and approved twice in the past six years for WLS and couldn't get insurance to pay.So now I have decided to go to DR. Ortiz. The problem is explaining to my friends and family. They think I'm crazy considering going to Mexico. They think I'll get second rate surgery, or be killed. How did you get your support people to understand?

    Hello all. Do you have to have a passport or birth certificate to cross the border? I'll be flying in from Ohio. I'm a very green traveler.

    I had feelings about the rouxen y like you did about changing what God put together and maybe ending up with more problems than I had. I had started the process to have that 5 years ago then lost insurance to cover. I'm glad now because of the band option. I have prayed for this and feel God has provided it, because everything so far has come together. Has anyone had surgery at Ohio State University hospital's Bariatric clinic?
