Kristy, My husband and I also have Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP and we are both planning to get the band in the fall. My question for you is, did you have other health problems stemming from obesity that BCBS considered in deciding to pay your claim? I am surprised that they would pay without some pre-approval. We will definitely give it a try! Thanks for sharing.
