Good question. I am in the same situation as you are. I was banded on July 24th with Dr. Ortiz. I also started eating a little early (about a week) but I have had no problems what so ever. I go for my first fill Sept. 12. Hope all is OK and everything is still were it is suppose to be.

I'm also sorry we didn't get to meet also. I don't think my port is bothering me just the cut were it went is still sore. I'm hungry but I think alot of it's in my head. I notice that after about 2-3 hours after I have had something I start to get hungry again but I quess thats normal since it is liquids and it just goes right on thru. Let me know how your doing.

Hello, Im doing great considering. They are right everyday does get better. I do have to admit the first day after surgery in the afternoon the hunger pains and growling stomach almost made me crazy and the ride home on the plane wasn't alot of fun either. Anyways I'm home now and things are just going to get better. What were you wearing when you left the OCC so maybe I can put a face with your name? I was probably the youngest in the waiting room with denim capris and a floral shirt on. (orange and cream colored)

Thanks for the info. I thought that in some of my info. OCC sent me (emails)that they said Fills were Free. It might just be in my Head or maybe one of the other places I was looking into gave me that info. Anyways thanks for the reply.

Just wandering if anybody can let me know how much they charge at the OCC to do fills? What kind of chargers are there if I want to go back for my 6-8 week post-op care? Getting banded by Dr. Ortiz on July 24th. I am so excited!!!!!!!

Ok, the one thing that bothers me the most is thinking about the IV needle. Just wondering if anybody can tell me how they do it and were they might stick me. And please tell me they deaden the spot before they stick that thing in. I know I'am a big baby, you would think that after a C-Section and having gallbladder removed I'd be over it but thats the worst part for me. Please someone let me know. By the way being banded my Dr. Ortiz July 24th.
