  1. Hey Wash bandsters, Hi just a quick note about the fills in arlington, they have trouble finding the port. I know of a couple of people besides myself who have had this problem. Dr Neal is great and his office is very nice I have had 2 fills there and they were both good. One was too much fluid and i had to go back and have some removed. I would love to get together again Pammie you and I might both go to the superbowl I am rooting for the Saints Let me know. Is anyone going to the nash in seattle?

  2. You should know that even the Occ people get different info from the doctors here. If you only ask one person for information you are only going to get one point of view. There are doctors in other states that do the fills for us because we can't all get back to T.J. to get fills. The report page is for the spam and alot of us have used it. It is really simple to do.

  3. Hey everyone. I have been so busy. I went to Dr Neal and his office was great. I had been filled 1.8 in T.J. and when they did the floro I only had 1.2 so I was a little dissapointed. They filled me to 2.0 but it was way to much and I could not even keep liquids down. I went back and my stomach was so irritated that they took it all out I now only have my band in I will get to go back and refill in 2 weeks they are really busy. It was nice to get to eat some foods I missed again. I can't wait to get the fill again and start loosing more I was doing so good. Hope everyone is well. Chrissy

  4. Mike, if you look you will find a link on this topic. It is a big source of debate. We have been told different things. I drank 6 to 8 sodas a day and thought it would kill me. I did drink a soda about 3 months after my surgery and althought it did not hurt me physically it did not taste as good as it use to. Maybe it was because I knew I should not be drinking it. Call Dr Miranda for the definate answer if you are not sure about all of the responses you get

    good luck

    Chrissy

  5. How do you know when you need a fill I had my surgery on may 25th and all went well. I had a fill on luly 27th and had a lot of pb'ing. I have lost 33 pounds since the pro-op diet and the surgery but I am starting to be able to eat a little bit more and I am worried that I might be streching my stomach or causing some other damage. I could use some input thanks Chrissy

  6. Hi, before my first fill I did not pb at all and I could eat anything except bread. I had my first fill and oh my gosh the first meal after liquids and I pb'd it was such a awful feeling. I have learned but still pb probably 2 times a week. I am going to go back at the end of Sept for a 2nd fill and see if I need to change. I know my problem. I eat to big of a bite. I am frustrated that I still have trouble with that after 2 months But I know it will get better. good luck to all C
