Hi my name is Maria. I'm 16 years old. I'm from Puerto Rico. Last time I got in to a scale I weighted 220 (that was like 10 months ago) I belive I'm like 250 or 260 pounds or more right now, I have been overweighted all my life. I used to play volleyball and I had to quit because of my weight. I haved tried every diet and never works, I used to go to the gym but I gave up. My aunt just had the lap band surgery a week ago and she is so happy. My family and I think that this surgery is one of my best choices. I am very scared, not of the surgery, but what my friends are going to think about me after all the radical changes that I'm going to pass through after the operation. I really don't know what to do. HELP ME!! PLEASE!!
