  1. Hello, I was banded on Aug 6th and things are going pretty well. I am able to eat breads and pasta's, but once in a while I will get nauseous right after taking a bite of something. There is not just one thing that causes the sudden nausea. It is all I can do from throwing up, and it is not the same as Pb'ing. I would really like to know why this happens. It doesn't happen all the time but it is still strange that it does. It happens maybe once every 2 weeks. I am 51 so it isn't pregnancy. The only thing I can think of might be that I might be somewhat dehydrated. I try to drink enough fluids and I take a multivitamin. So if someone else has gone through this and figured it out, please let me know.
  2. Thanks so much. It really helps. It is hard not knowing what is going on inside.
  3. I was banded on August 6th, yesterday I took the kids to the zoo. We were there for 6 hours, when we left. We were all really hungry. We stopped at Jack in the box. I order a sourdough burger and fires with water. It did not set well and I will not repeat that again. I had forgotten about the band needing to seat itself. The burger made me feel sick, and today my stomach feels queasy. It all feels like it is just sitting in my stomach. I am scared about lap band slippage, so I need to know the signs and where I would feel it at. Would it be in the front or on the side? I have not had a fill yet. Up until yesterday I had been on soups and really good about blending everything and drinking my protein shakes. Do you think I have a lot to worry about? I am really stressed about this. I have wanted to kick myself ever since.
