Thanks, I'll try and get some liquid tylenol. My Husband went out last night and cam home with kids liquid tylenol- not so helpful unless I swallow the whole jarful. I've got gasx. I'm not sure if the pain I feel is hunger ( that's what my brain thinks anyway, because my tummy rumbles like empty tummy and I'm having trouble focussing on tasks at hand.... or if its post surgery gas etc.... so far today i've had about a cup of diet jello and a half cup of chicken broth in two doses and I'm starving... I think...

I only got the little sheets that she gave, which didn't have much in the way of suggestions. Check out LapBandTalk.com.. I think there are some suggestions on it.

I got home yesterday, having travelled all day. I'm tired, and my left shoulder really still hurts from gas pain. I had broth on the plane ( I bought some dried Knorr broth in TJ) and some diluted juice, but that gave me the runs - not fun on a 5 hour flight... I did lots of walking, am sipping broth slowly and have eaten some low cal jello.... still lots of gas. ANy suggestions for getting rid of the gas. Also I have a general ache at the top of my belly- presumably above the band - after I've sipped or eaten - is that the fill feeling? or is that temporary post surgery ache?Its uncomfortable. I feel like my digestive system is all screwy - the runs, but constipated feeling and gas..... I assume that this too shall pass.... any suggestions?

earleir today I read on one fo the posts that there is a video of one of the surgeries that we can watch online, if you're not queasy. I've looked an looked and can't find the post. Can someone point me to that video.....? thanks

Hi All, I'm Being bandd ont he 15th, coming in from Canada on the 14th - anyone else out there for that date> for those that have already been banded, did the people there introduce you to other patients the night before?

HI to all , I'm from Canada, flying in the 14th , being bandd on the 15th and heading back on the 17th- anyone else got those dates......?

Please let me know if you are being banded that day. I am heading down on my own and would love to have a 'buddy' there.

I live in Ottawa and i have heard of one here and another to come. ALso I have been told that the missisauga centre does fills, and expect that one of the docs doing lapband in Montreal will do them too. The price point in Ottawa appears to be $75 canadian.....

I'm heading down on my own, so would love to be able to connect with anyone else coming in on the 14th.
