I received an email from Delta about my flight in Sept. They said that non prescription medication is allowed if it is a medical necessity. So I guess its best to call your airline and see exactly what they mean by that. I know they are talking about insulin but if the Dr. says it is necessary maybe you can take the tylenol. Nita

Chelley, I just gotta say thanks again for all the information you keep plugging in here. I am scheduled for my surgery on Sept 8 and I too have a high BMI and will probably have the VG band. It helps me so much to know what to expect with this. You are a real trooper. I'm not sure I wouldn't have died from dissapointment without ever finding out what you have shared with us now. Good luck and continued success. Please keep posting. BTW I was out of the country for a few weeks and since I am back I don't see any posts from Darin. He had his surgery right before I left. Hope he is doing okay too. Nita

Chelley How are you doing? I also have been closely following your progress for inspiration(or not). You have not let us know for a while how it's going. Are you losing weight again? I would love to see a post from you that is about you. If you would rather not then I understand that too. just kind of got involved with your journey. Nita

Okay, So I have paid my deposit and booked my flight. The more I read here the more I think this might just be another costly mistake. Weight gain? slippage? etc. c'mn someone..some encouragement. I might cancel otherwise. I'm very depressed reading this and no where near as hopeful as I was

I have never posted anything on a message board before so forgive me if I stumble here. I just want to say a huge Thanks to Chelly for continuing to keep everyone updated with your progress. I am not having my surgery until Sept 8 so it is a big comfort for me to hear that you are doing so very well. Please don't stop posting as you are being a great inspiration. Thanks again Nita
