Hi! I'm a 38-year-old female, severely obese (BMI: 37), who is looking into Lap Band Surgery. I have some health issues though and I don't know if a doctor would do this type of surgery for me. I have CFS, Fibromyalgia and IC Disease (a bladder disease). I am looking to talk to others who have one or more of these illnesses to see how Lap Band Surgery went for you and recovery. Also, what is the average amount of weight loss after this operation?
