Babe Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 i went to my favourite cafe around the corner from my place today for the first time in about a month (and the first time since being banded 3 weeks ago). the owner and i have gotten pretty friendly over the past 3 or 4 years, and today he said 'i can't figure it out, but you look different... i've got it, you've lost weight haven't you? it's really noticeable on your face! good for you!'. i've had a couple relatives make comments, but i haven't really taken them seriously. i don't know why, but for some reason, having a practical stranger notice the change has made me so happy... i can't stop smiling!
