I have even tried the unjury non flavored... today at work... yuck... it does have a smell and it does have a taste... please help. I was so ready to try the unjury non flavored and now am so disappointed... any suggestions??? I ma really so upset.. I thought I would be able to ahndle this... My appointment withthe surgeon is this Thursday, I would like to be able to tell him I have found a protien drink I can tolerate... I emailed Dr Miranda and told her the problem I was having and she gave me an alternative pre-op diet. I was sooo HAPPPPY that words cannot express the level of my ecstasy after two days of practicaly no food. Call/email Dr Miranda and she can help you, it's what she's there for. It is from Diet Direct.com Go to hot drinks. order the hot chocolate ohhhhhh is it the very best. I mix it in a shaker with hot water ... make sure you stir it good before shaking or burp your shaker after a shake as the heat of the hot water can cause your hot choc to explode .........once you try this drink it is by wonderslim... seventy calories and twelve grams of protien. mmmmmmmmmmso good. Not sure if it's because there wasn't any powder that doesn't get mixed up (ewww) or because you can't smell it before it's in your mouth, cuz it's in a drink-box, lol. It is sold at Vitamin Shop and some GNC stores. It comes in several flavors, and is in the form of a clear liquid in a bottle. I would consider it a protein supplement, rather than a meal replacement, but it is truly different than protein shakes. Also, it is not super sweet. They are in a refrigerated case and there are usually a lot of options. My advice is to start with one of each flavor/kind and try them, find out what one you like best. You'll find the more protein you can get into your body the better you will feel. :-) My favorite is the Pink Lemonade.
