Stacy Posted February 3, 2008 Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 Hey Jillie, It is because they have to fill your stomach with gas to raise the skin up in order to see what they are doing and after surgery the Gas X strip helps release that gas.. so does walking... lots of walking or else you can have bad gas cramps.
