Pain Meds for toothache

Recommended Posts

I've just had dental work (crown on one tooth and replace old fillings on another). I've got a temporary crown and waiting for another week for the permanent one. I've had awful pain. My dentist is on holidays for another week. To be brief, I've been taking pain pills , 2 at a time every four hours and I feel rotten. ( I rarely take pain pills and never for so long!) I am concerned re my pouch, not to mention my liver. What would be safest to take? Tylenol Gel Caps?, Aspirin, Advil??

This is not a question you should be asking on a forum; this is a question you should be asking either your PCP or your lapband surgeon's office. Your PCP may be able to answer it if he or she is knowledgeable about the band, but I would probably call the surgeon's office.
