I had spoken to the receptionist about getting Dr. Woodhead to do my fills, and she told me to call her when I was ready to book. I just called, and she said as of May 1st they are not doing them for anybody unless Dr. Woodhead does their surgery. I can't afford and don't want to keep having to go to Tijuana. I was hoping to find somewhere close to home in case I had difficulty or needed any "unfills". I had my surgery last Tuesday and was getting ready to fax in the forms and make my appt today for 6 weeks from now. That is so frustrating. Well there is a dr. in Victoria who is supposed to be very good and is cheaper than Dr. Woodhead (I heard $200 for initial and $75 after that) so maybe I will have to give that a try. When I was almost begging her to take me, she said "you haven't even had your surgery yet". So, you may be okay. My 2nd choice is in U.S. I'm just looking into Bellingham, Everett, and Seattle. She said she would ask the Dr. and get back to me but I don't see it happening. I did some research on the Dr. and Victoria and apparently he doesn't like to do fills for out of country bands either and if he does take you on it can take months to get a fill. My passport expires in a week so I am not going to be able to go to the States or MX for a fill. Grrrrrr. I guess I'm looking at Calgary.....Woopeeee, the phone just rang and Dr. Woodhead said that because the nurse had already sent me the forms that would take me on as a patient. If you want you can have my paperwork (I'm going back to the OCC). Maybe just complete the paperwork and send them in. Maybe they'll still accept you. I don't know if it will be to far for you to travel, but there is a clinic in Arlington WA, called Northwest Fill Center. They have done my fill for me. They are just wonderfull. I'm done around 7 tomorrow night and 8 Weds night. Thursday's no good for me as my son has umpiring in PoCo at 5:45, so I need to get him there right after work. Hmm... any thoughts? Maybe there's someone in your area that can do that. To book my surgery I went through Medicaledge in Calgary and he has a list of people that do fills so maybe you can ask him if there's anyone in BC. his email is andrew@medicaledge.ca.
