banded4life Posted June 12, 2008 Report Share Posted June 12, 2008 Hello All! I was banded on May 30. For the last two days, I have had a new and very uncomfortable feeling. It seems to be just under my rib cage on my left side. I feel like I am full of knots or that there is a foot on the inside of me that is pushing really hard trying to get out. fat2nrml Posted June 12, 2008 Report Share Posted June 12, 2008 I had that too, it feels like something getting caught under the edge of your rib? It happened alot to me at first, now it "catches" every once in a while. Not sure what it is.... I figured it was from the swelling? Also, your actual port isn't right under your incision, it's about 3 in. below it. That's where Doc stuck me for my fill. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Will T Posted June 12, 2008 Report Share Posted June 12, 2008 it sounds like its your port, and the tissue where it is placed has some swelling. Try to press that area inward, to see if you can feel the port. It's about the diameter of a large quarter or a half dollar, with a bump in the center.
