Don't know that doc - but I'd suggest you contact the folks at the OCC (click the logo on the upper left). Most of us on this forum were banded by Dr. Ortiz at the OCC, who is one of the top lap band surgeons in the world. I'm not sure what their upper weight limit is, but they can tell you. I know it's at least a BMI of 50, possibly up to 60.
