dianna Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 I was just curious....I know everyone is different, but I was just wondering if you all would respond and document when you had your fills, how many cc's and weight loss inbetween fills. I'll go first. First fill August 16th 1cc. 3 pounds lost between my first and second fill Second fill Sept 3rd 1.2cc for a total of 2.2cc. Between my second and third fill lost 5 pounds Third fill Sept 29 1cc for a total of 3cc in my 4cc band. Praying for good restriction or that "sweet spot" I dream of! Thought this would be interesting to see how others are doing. Also...I don't know how to say this well...but sometimes we get down on ourselves (me especially) for not losing weight fast enough...or not losing "enough" weight. I thought this might be a good way to look at our weight loss and remind ourselves that we are on the right path. I can't weight (hehehehehe) to hear from everyone!!!! Pre-op May 27/08 285lbs Surgery date June 10/08 273lbs (lost 12 lbs pre op diet) 3cc fill in 9cc band during surgery First Fill July 30/08 253lbs (lost 20 lbs post op diet) 1cc fill Second Fill Aug 27/08 248lbs (lost 5 lbs since last fill) 1cc fill Total Today 232lbs (lost 16 lbs since last fill-so far) 5cc in 9cc band Sweetspot so far!!! Allcdngirl Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 1st Fill - July 1st .75 - 22 lbs lost between surgery and now 2nd Fill - Aug 22nd 1.00 - 6 lbs lost between 1st and 2nd fill 2nd fill to now... lost 2 lbs. First Un-fill Sept. 3rd -.05cc for a total of 1.4cc in band (lost 4 pounds between fill and unfill) Since Un-fill on 9/3/2008 I've lost 2.8 pounds Total weight loss 35 pounds in 6 months. TOTAL weight loss including pre-op 73lbs. It was not until my 3rd fill that I finally started dropping some weight. There were times I would read the forum and it seemed like everyone in the world was losing faster than me.. I, daily, had to remind myself that I did NOT get fat overnight so there is NO WAY I was gonna get thinner overnight. (sigh) slow and steady... slow and steady.. it's not a race. I feel like I can eat too much but I had 3.2 and starved for 6 weeks because I BPd everything solid that I ate. MamaMichelle Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 lets see, for me: Starting/Highest 01/01/08: weight 247 lbs Date of Surgery 02/28/08: weight 226 lbs (-21 lbs lost in 8 weeks on pre-op) 1st Fill 1.6cc @ OCC 4/18/08: weight 202lbs (-17lbs between surgery and 1st fill) 2nd Fill +.7cc @ OCC 5/16/08: weight 197lbs (-5lbs between 1st and 2nd fill) The next day I had and unfill of -.3cc, for a total of 2.0cc 3rd Fill+.35cc @ Fill Center USA 6/21/08: weight 187lbs (-10lbs between 2nd and 3rd fill) Fill Total of 2.35cc 4th Fill +.25cc @ Fill Center USA 9/05/08: weight 175lbs (-12lbs between 3rd and 4th fill) Fill Total 2.6cc Right now it's been almost a month since my 4th fill and I am super tight but I have only lost 6lbs so far since my last fill! I get so worried that I am not losing weight like I should, or that maybe I was getting fills sooner than I should be...but it looks like we are all different but the same too. I lost a total of 20 pounds between 1st fill and surgery 1st fill I weighted 234.4 on July 19 had 2.00 cc between fills I lost 33 pounds 2nd fill I weighted 212.5 on Sept. 20 had .7 cc That brought me down 53 pounds total. and now I am down 60 pounds and I have only had 2 fills.
